President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visited Complex of oil-refining and petrochemical plants in Nizhnekamsk

President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has visited Complex of oil-refining and petrochemical plants in Nizhnekamsk (the Republic of Tatarstan). This site (project of JSC “TANECO”) has become the first point of program during his staying in Tatarstan.
We remind that today the plane with Russian President and accompanying him officials landed in Begishevo airport where he was received by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Within the frameworks of visit to Complex of oil-refining and petrochemical plants in Nizhnekamsk Director General of JSC “TANECO” Khamza Bagmanov briefly presented the project. Thus, the project of Complex consists of three plants - oil-refining, plant of deep refining and a petrochemical plant. The main investor and coordinator of project realization is JSC “Tatneft”, the customer is JSC“TANECO”.
Since the beginning of construction period company “Tatneft” at the expense of its own means and attracted corporate loans has financed the project for the sum of 170 bln. roubles. Financing of the project was also realized by federal budget (by RF Investment fund).
In the second part of day President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev will conduct a session of Commission on modernization and technological development of Russian economy. Issues of implementing regional programs on increasing energy efficiency will be discussed at the session.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
