Rustam Minnikhanov visits Tatkhimfarmpreparaty production facility
On July 4, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Tatkhimfarmpreparaty manufacturer, where he looked around production facility of sterile eye ointments and drops, as well as that of unsterile outer ointments and gels.
During the tour Minnikhanov was shown equipment installed in a workshop, automated production and packaging lines.
Director General of Tatkhimpharmpreparaty Timur Khannanov told him that the new facility was built using own and borrowed funds.
According to Khannanov, it is Russia’s only production facility of sterile eye ointments and drops. A Czech company was the project contractor.
Tatarstan Industry and Trade Minister Albert Karimov, Economy Minister of the republic Artem Zdunov, Director of Sviazinvestneftekhim Vladimir Sorokin, Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov, and other officials were accompanying Tatarstan President.
