Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has a meeting with representatives of Rostec and Rohde & Schwarz

On July 5, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the business mission of the Rostec State Corporation and the Rohde & Schwarz company (Germany) led by Deputy General Director of Rostec Dmitry Shugaev and President of Rohde & Schwarz Christian Leicher.

The German side told Minnikhanov about prospects of cooperation with the Kazan enterprise - members of the Rostec.  Christian Leicher also informed the meeting about plans to establish a training and technological center at the Kazan Federal University to train specialists of the  Russian electronics industry.

Moreover, "Rostec" and "Rohde & Schwarz" intend to look into the matter of the creation of metrological certification center at one of the Kazan enterprises – members of "Rostec" and to consider prospects for the introduction of automated systems to optimize design, production and quality control processes.

In his turn Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan pays special attention to the development of innovation and the strengthening of cooperation with foreign partners in the sphere of science and education. Tatarstan President said that Tatarstan is interested in developing long-term partnership relations with the Rohde & Schwarz and also noted the successful experience of a number of German companies, which are using the regional platform to start their business in Russia. 

Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov, representatives of ministries and departments of the republic took part in the meeting.
