Rustam Minnikhanov: Victories of Dinamo-Kazan team gives new impetus to development of hockey-team

On July 7, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President Asgat Safarov, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport of the republic Vladimir Leonov and other officials took part in a solemn celebration of Dinamo-Kazan men's field hockey team, which for the 13-th time has won the title of the champion of Russia. 

Minnikhanov congratulated the athletes and coaching staff on their well-earned victory at 2015-2016 Russia Men's Field Hockey Championships.

"The highest sportsmanship, harmonious team spirit and belief in success have led you to the championship. Due to systematic and purposeful work of the players and coaches you have climbed to the top of the victory podium," Tatarstan President said.

Minnikhanov said special word of thanks to the fans, who cheered for the team.

According to him, hockey gets a new impetus to the development due to their victories. "A worthy replacement is coming. You exalt our republic at a sports Olympus. It is not only the victory of your team, but also the entire country. Your success is our success," Minnikhanov said.

Several athletes were awarded the title of Tatarstan Honored Worker of Physical Culture for the achievement of high sports results at the 2015-2016 Russia Men's Field Hockey Championships. Also, the club was handed over a letter of thanks of Tatarstan President.
