New large pharmaceutical plant to be constructed in Tatarstan

A joint enterprise on producing medicines with participation of Indian company «CSM PHARMA LLC» may be constructed in Tatarstan. On November, 1 RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met with CEOs of «CSM PHARMA LLC». After the meeting, parties signed memorandum on mutual understanding.
Welcoming guests, Ildar Khalikov noted that the meeting was well-organized. In particular, RT President Rustam Minnikhanov agreed for signing memorandum on cooperation that will facilitate further development of relations between Tatarstan and «CSM PHARMA LLC».
Officials of «CSM PHARMA LLC», in their turn, thanked the receiving party for hospitality and informed about details of creating a joint enterprise in Tatarstan, - plant for producing pills, injections, ointments and eye drops. Ready-made products are to be sold inside the country and outside – in Belarus, Kazakhstan and Iran.
Besides, Indian partners are planning to create a centre of laboratory research and elaborations in RT together with leading Kazan universities.
Total volume of investments into the project from Indian side may go beyond 150 mln. dollars. There will be created more than 1 000 of working places, and logistics system throughout the country will be arranged.
After the meeting, parties signed memorandum on mutual understanding. On the part of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Director General of JSC “Tathimfarmpreparaty” Timur Khannanov put their signatures. PM asked to start detailed elaboration of the project as quickly as possible within the limits of created working group.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
