Ildar Khalikov: Participants of Startup Sabantuy succeed in offering the market something new

On July 30, in Naberezhnye Chelny, Acting Tatarstan President, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the presentation of the most promising startups at the Startup Sabantuy-2016.

Representatives of 25 largest investors, both Russian and foreign ones, have come to the event to listen to ideas and, if they turn to be promising, to invest their money into them.  

In his welcoming remarks, Khalikov said that Sabantuy is not only a holiday, but also a place to demonstrate achievements, ideas that could turn into a successful business and the Startup Sabantuy is a good example of that.

Today, Startup owners will have meetings with investors to discuss prospects for the implementation of their projects. According to preliminary estimates, the cost of investments may reach 10 million dollars. Interestingly, that before entering the world market an annual turnover of one of the most ambitious projects – a set of solutions for high-quality mobile virtual reality Boxglass is about to reach 80 million dollars.

"Half of the success of modern business is to offer the market something new or to do something better and more affordable. Participants of the Startup Sabantui succeed in doing this," Khalikov said.

After the official part of the opening of the final expedition of the Startup Sabantuy 2016 Khalikov got acquainted with the work of the children's park "Kvantorium", and then went to the business incubator of the IT-park to talk with its residents.
