Ildar Khalikov holds meeting on training IT specialists at Tatarstan educational organizations

On August 3, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov held a meeting on training IT specialists at Tatarstan educational organizations.

Opening the meeting, Ildar Khalikov said that regional government and higher educational institutions have a lot of joint tasks, including development of IT industry, scientific activity, and training of IT specialists.

Making a keynote report , Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov said that courses for  training of IT specialists were opened at some regional universities, including Kazan Federal University, IT park, Innopolis University.

Speaking about needs of IT companies, Roman Shaikhutdinov said that systems analysts, technical writers, developers are in demand.

Therefore, special programmes “systems analysts”, “С++developer”, “Oracle developer”, Java Script developer, and “PHP developer” were developed. The training course lasts for 6-12 months.

Khalikov noted that young people as well as experienced IT specialists can undergo training.

Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov told about the concept of educational online platform for ongoing improvement of IT literacy and training of IT personnel.
