Rustam Minnikhanov inspects harvesting in Kukmor region

On August 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, was on a working trip in Kukmor region. Upon arrival he discussed harvesting campaign with agricultural workers.

Rustam Minnikhanov appreciated the work of local dwellers noting that other areas such as the increase of livestock population should be developing.

Head of the region Sergey Dimitriev told that Kukmor is the leader in milk production (202 tonnes per day).

Rustam Minnikhanov visited new mega farm for 1,000 milk cows. It was noted that more than 300 mln rubles were spent on this new project, and the production capacity of the farm makes 60 tonnes of milk per 24 hours.
