On August 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov, and other officials took part in the settlement of a new 21-apartment house for participants of regional and federal housing programmes.
A family of a WWII veteran, four orphan children, and 16 people who relocated from dilapidated housing moved to new flats.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan has long been implementing federal and regional programmes aimed at improving living conditions of its citizens.
Later on, Minnikhanov went to see the embankment of the Nurminka River, where Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishman presented the project of site improvement.
