President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev: complex program of developing communal infrastructure should be implemented in every subject of the federation

About 4,5 mln. people in Russia live in slum or hazardous housing. This was announced by RF President Dmitry Medvedev at the session of RF State Council Presidium which was held in Syktyvkar (Komi Republic). The event was dedicated to issues of developing modern infrastructure in housing utilities complex.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the session of RF State Council Presidium.
By words of Dmitry Medvedev, the given figures are not real, in fact, there are much more people living in such conditions. He stressed likewise that we have to move towards reducing the volume of slums housing . About 40 % of houses need to be repaired, Dmitry Medvedev said. He also assessed the activity of State Corporation “Fund of promoting reforms in housing and public utilities” created for making major repairs being rather successful.
President of Russia stressed that often managing companies in the sphere of housing and public utilities collect money in time but render services too late. We have to decide on standards and principles of their work. Dmitry Medvedev reminded that for this very reason RF State Duma will be considering the bill about standards of quality and activity of managing companies in the sphere of housing and public utilities.
The Russian President also set one more priority task – increase of energy resource efficiency in the sphere of housing and public utilities. Besides, it is necessary to think about professional development of employees working in this sector in order to improve their competence.
Governor of Novosibirsk oblast Vasily Yurchenko, RF Minister of regional development Viktor Basargin, governor of Murmansk oblast Dmitry Dmitrienko made reports at the session.
Members of Presidium discussed issues of functioning of water supply and water drain systems, modernization of “Vodokanal” water supply.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
