1160 thousand hectares or 78 per cent of area have been thrashed in Tatarstan

On August 13, at a traditional meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov reported that 1160 thousand hectares or 78 per cent of area have been thrashed since the beginning of the harvesting.

It was noted that though the weather has been changeable, most farms are keeping high rates of work. However, south-east regions of the republic are showing the lowest results.

Akhmetov also reported on results of livestock industry for seven months of the current year.

Ildar Khalikov asked heads of the regions to focus on a very important period in the harvesting campaign.
