Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates citizens of Aznakayevo region on 85th anniversary of the region’s foundation and 60th anniversary of Aznakayevskneft Oil and Gas Production Board

On August 13, at a solemn event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Aznakayevo region and 60th anniversary of Aznakayevskneft Oil and Gas Production Board, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Aznakayevo is one of the most developed regions in the republic.

The president expressed his special gratitude to veterans of war and labour, and reminded that four Heroes of the Soviet Union, eight Heroes of Socialist Labour, and one Hero of Russia were from Aznakayevo.

Minnikhanov continued that the economic potential of the republic allows solving many social and economic problems. In particular, houses, schools and kindergartens, health care and sport facilities are being repaired; parks and squares are being constructed.

More than 110,000 square metres of housing, 24 sports venues, 9 health care and 5 cultural facilities, 7 educational institutions have been built in the region for the last 5 years.

Aznakayevskneft Oil and Gas Production Board adopted a few innovations that were used at Tatneft oilfields and other Russian oil- producing companies.

Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked all veterans of the company for their selfless and heroiс labour, and the spirit of patriotism that laid the foundation for current achievements of oil industry workers.
