Rustam Minnikhanov pays a working visit to Aktanysh region

On August 15, in the afternoon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Aktanysh municipal region of the republic.

Upon his arrival, Minnikhanov flied over the region’s fields by a helicopter and inspected the course of the harvesting campaign.

The meeting with heads of farms and settlements discussed in details the situation at the fields. This year the grain area made 44,000 hectares. As of today, the grain harvesting has been completed for 87 per cent in the region.  With a crop yield making 33 centner per hectare, Aktanysh farmers add more than 3,000 tonnes of grain to the total amount every day. Besides, Aktanysh region is one of this season’s leaders, 10 days before the end of the harvesting campaign 126,000 tonnes of grain have been reaped.

Head of the region Fail Kamaev noted that much attention is paid to the development of dairy farming in the region. Aktanysh region ranks fourth in the republic for the production of milk, with a daily gross milk yield exceeding 156 tonnes.

After the meeting, Minnikhanov went to Aktanysh village, where he got acquainted with the results of major overhaul of the local Culture Center "Aghidel". At the entrance to the center the honoured guests were met by the participants of the State Song and Dance Ensemble "Aghidel". During the inspection of the reconstructed building, head of the region said that builders changed all the utilities, repaired the roof and the facade.

Then, Minnikhanov took part in a solemn opening of the renovated embankment in Aktanysh village. Congratulating Aktanysh dwellers on this solemn event, Minnikhanov noted that today theme parks open and works to improve water protection zones are underway in every region and city of the republic.  

At the end of his visit of Tatarstan President visited Aktanysh Aggregate Plant. The company specializes in the production of components for the KAMAZ Automaker.
