On August 16, at the 46th session of the Supervisory council of ANO “Executive directorate of sports and social projects”, Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko said that the activity of directorate is in demand and a lot of crucial tasks are imposed on it.
Russian Minister of Sport, Chairman of the Supervisory council of ANO “Executive directorate of sports and social projects” Vitaly Mutko, State Secretary – Russian Deputy Minister of Sport Natalia parshikova, and Director General of ANO “Executive directorate of sports and social projects” took part in the session in Moscow; Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov took part in the session in Kazan.
Vitaly Mutko noted that in the first half of 2016 the Directorate took part in organization and holding of 11 sports events, 10 of which were international. Moreover, it was appointed federal operator of All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex GTO (Ready for Labour and Defense) and coordinated the work with regions.
Mutko reminded that the 6th session of International conference of ministers and highest officials responsible for physical education and sport under the auspices of UNESCO will be held in Kazan in 2017.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked leadership of Russian Ministry of Sport for the given credence in holding international events. He noted that Kazan is preparing for Confederations Cup in 2017, FIFA World Cup in 2018 and WorldSkills Championship on 2019.
