Branch of innovative centre “Skolkovo” to be created in Tatarstan

Major areas of mutually beneficial cooperation of group of companies “Renova” and innovative centre “Skolkovo” (Moscow) with the largest enterprises of Tatarstan have been discussed today at the meeting in House of RT government

The meeting with officials of group of companies “Renova” and innovative centre “Skolkovo” headed by Vice-president - member of directorate of group of companies “Renova” Rinat Khalikov was held by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.

We remind that representative delegation of “Renova” company and innovative centre “Skolkovo” arrived in Kazan with two-day visit (November, 28-29, 2010). The program of visit includes discussion of perspective areas for cooperation between “Skolkovo” and Kazan (Volga) Federal university and such structures as innovative production technopark “Idea”, IT park and others.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that cooperation of Tatarstan innovative structures with centre “Skolkovo” is of interest for republic. By his words, today many RF regions have experience in the sphere of development and implementation of innovations which may be adopted for using in future when creating new centre “Skolkovo”.

Rinat Khalikov briefly presented major areas of activity of group of companies “Renova”. Director for development of high-tech assets of “Renova” company Mikhail Livshits told about realization of projects in the sphere of high technologies.

COO of cluster of information technologies of innovative centre “Skolkovo” Alelsandr Turkot told about structure of “Skolkovo” in details.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov wished specialists of the companies “Renova” and “Skolkovo” fruitful discussions with officials of Tatarstan innovative structures.

In the second part of day meetings will be held with administration of innovative production technopark “Idea”, rectors of Kazan universities, representatives of RT Investment-venture fund, RT Committee on developing small and medium entrepreneurship, RT Ministry of health care, RT Ministry of informatization and communications.
