Rustam Minnikhanov opens World Hockey Cup among young club teams in Nizhnekamsk

On August 20, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of Nizhnekamsk region Aidar Metshin, and other officials attended a solemn opening of the World Hockey Cup among young club teams at Neftekhim Arena ice palace in Nizhnekamsk.
Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the spectators and congratulated everyone on the 50th anniversary of Nizhnekamsk. He thanked organizers of the championship for holding it in Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny.
The World Hockey Cup will be held on August 20-28. Russian will be represented by Nizhnekamsk team “Reactor” and Yaroslavl team “Loko”.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
