Rustam Minnikhanov visits Muslyumovo region

On August 22, during his meeting with machine operators and heads of villages of Muslyumovo region, Tatarstan, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov said that the agricultural industry of the region has huge potential.

The president was reported that the harvesting campaign is completed by 96 per cent, and 106,6 thousand tons of grain have been milled. The receipts in cash from selling agricultural produce have made 517 mln rubles for the last seven months. Planned upgrade of machinery has been implemented since 2013.

Rustam Minnikhanov asked agrarians to intensify their work and set a task before the region’s leadership to be in top 10 leading agricultural producers by 2020. He added that agricultural machine building is the region’s competitive advantage.

Later on, Rustam Minnikhanov visited new park “Kurai” in Muslyumovo village. The park is dedicated to music art and divided in zones for active, relaxing, and children’s recreation. There are three sports grounds and free Wi-Fi.
