Ildar Khalikov: energy saving is a huge resource for economy

Session of RT government “On results of implementing the program “Energy resource efficiency in Tatarstan for 2006-2010 years” and tasks on realizing long-term targeted program “Energy saving and increase of energy efficiency in Tatarstan for 2011-2015 years and prospects up to 2020” was held in Kazan. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the event.
Opening of XII specialized exhibition “Energetics. Resource saving-2010” and XI International symposium “Energy resource efficiency and Energy saving” was held on the territory of Exhibition centre “Kazan fair” before the session.
Opening the session of RT government, Ildar Khalikov underlined the importance of adopting energy-saving technologies in industrial sector, budget institutions and municipalities.
“Energy saving is a huge resource for economy”, - Ildar Khalikov stressed. By his words, we should install modern heating and heat-saving systems, efficient illumination. Those funds saved as a result of implementation of energy-saving technologies may be used for development of an enterprise or modernization of facilities and equipment of a budget institution.
RT Deputy Prime Minister – RT Minister of energy Ilshat Fardiev made the main report at the session. He emphasized that the Republic of Tatarstan was one of the first regions in Russia to start increasing energy efficiency. For ten years energy capacity of gross regional product was reduced to 40 %. “I would like to stress that this process was happening along with improvement of life quality of population”, - he said.
RT Vice-premier thinks that according to performed analysis of efficient energy consumption, by results of realization of the program “Energy resource efficiency in Tatarstan for 2006-2010 years”, programmed values of main indicators have been reached.
Long-term targeted program “Energy saving and increase of energy efficiency in Tatarstan for 2011-2015 years and prospects up to 2020” was accepted on July,29,2010. It is considered to give a new qualitative stimulus to this sphere. Total costs for this program will make 220 bln. roulbes.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
