President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in presentation of Russia bid for hosting world football championship in 2018

Today RT President Rustam Minnikhanov is in Zürich (Switzerland) where he is taking part in presentation of Russia bid for hosting world football championship in 2018 with the delegation from Russia. The delegation consists of 30 people headed by First Vice-premier of RF government Igor Shuvalov.
Final presentation of Russian application will be held in headquarters of FIFA (Zürich) at 12.00 by local time (at 14.00 by Moscow time).
Russia’s presentation will be the last one after Belgium, Holland, Spain and Portugal, England.
Results of voting of 22 members of FIFA executive committee will be announced at 16.00 by local time (18.00 – by Moscow time) in trade exhibition centre “Messe- Zürich”.
We remind that Kazan is among cities pretending for holding world football championship 2018 in case FIFA chooses Russia.

On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.

On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
