Tatarstan President promises preferences to distinguished students of “Business class” from Google and Sberbank

On August 26, at a meeting at the Tatarstan Government House, speaking about a pilot project “Business class”, the President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his dissatisfaction with low interest of Tatarstan business in industry-specific knowledge. Tatarstan Government, Sberbank and Google offered businessmen of the republic to take part in the project for free.

Reporting on interim results of the project, Deputy Chairman of Volgo-Vyatsky bank of Sberbank of Russia Rushan Sakhbiev said that 10 000 participants were meant to register at first, a lot more people were interested in the project. Currently, about 7 000 people are actively studying business skills.

Leader of the republic asked Sakhbiev to continue implementing the programme, and Minister of economy Artem Zdunov to work out the regulation that would provide a reward for distinguished regions and businessmen, who will successfully complete the programme. For example, for businessmen, Minnikhanov offered to provide preferences for businessmen for participation in regional programmes.
