Rustam Minnikhanov: World football championship is a dream which could hardly come true

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov considers that holding of World football championship in 2018 will be a powerful incentive to development of Russian cities. He has announced this today while commenting the win of Russia in voting for the right to host World championship 2018.
“It is a dream which could hardly come true. The win of Russia will have a positive impact on development of football in the country, attitude of people towards this game and their consolidation. It will be a powerful spur to development of Russian cities, which will change greatly and become well-known throughout the world”.
“Currently we are preparing for hosting Universiade 2013, creating necessary infrastructure. We are building football fields taking into account requirements of FIFA. By 2013 Kazan will be seriously prepared for holding world championship and some things will have to be completed by 2018”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
We remind that President of Tatarstan within Russian delegation supported Russian application at the session of FIFA executive committee in Zürich.
Kzan is one of the cities where matches of World football championship are to be held. Football stadium for 45 000 places that is being constructed for Universiade 2013 may become the arena for holding these matches.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
