Tatarstan President meets participants of II Regional ethno-confessional festival “Mosaic of cultures”

On August 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Culture of the republic Airat Sibagatullin, and other officials met participants of the II Regional ethno-confessional festival “Mosaic of cultures” at “Kazan” Family Center. The festival aims to tell dwellers and guests of the city about rich national and religious culture of Tatarstan.

Upon arrival Minnikhanov looked around the exposition “Religion as a part of culture”, saw national clothes, arts and crafts in special pavilions. Also, he watched performances of artists from Austria, Kazakhstan and The Republic of Tyva (Russia).

Making a speech at the event, the president said that Tatarstan pays much attention to strengthening of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional relations.

Later on the same day, Minnikhanov met bloggers participating in the tour around Tatarstan. The tour is organized in order to increase attractiveness of Tatarstan as a safe and interesting region for auto tourism and promotion of unique sites and destinations of the republic.
