Tatarstan President opens new sports complex at Maisky greenhouse complex

On September 5, during his working trip to Zelenodolsk region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Maisky greenhouse complex, where he looked around a new tomato production greenhouse. It occupies the area of 1,4 hectares and 4,1 hectares of facilities are to be modernized. It will allow increasing the production of tomatoes by 900 tons per year.

Director General of Maisky greenhouse complex Ilshat Ganiev told about new equipment used at the new complex, such as climate control system, photoculture technologies, and drip watering.

Later on the same day, Tatarstan President took part in the opening of new sports complex at Maisky complex. Development of sports infrastructure includes not only construction of this sports complex, but also a hockey rink, and children’s playground.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Maisky complex is a remarkable example of a successful enterprise that invests into the development of social projects as well as technical upgrading.

Head of Zelenodolsk region Aleksandr Tygin reported on the current sowing campaign and implementation of regional grant programmes.

The president also visited a new 40-apartment house for employees of the greenhouse complex.
