Rustam Minnikhanov meets President of Yokogawa Electric Corporation Takashi Nishijima

On September 7, during the Tatarstan oil, gas and chemical forum at Kazanskaya Yarmarka exhibition center, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met President of Yokogawa Electric Corporation Takashi Nishijima and thanked him for participation in the forum.

Minnikhanov noted that relations between Tatarstan and Yokogawa have been developing for many years, and due to participation of the company Kazan has become one of the national engineering centers in the sphere of production automation. The engineering center Yokogawa-Kazan is showing good dynamics of development.

Tatarstan President thanked Takashi Nishijima for participation in work of Tatarstan educational centers and implementation of information technologies for enhanced studying of chemistry at schools.

“We intend to continue cooperation with our colleagues in strategic projects in oil, gas and chemical industry, including participation of such companies as “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”, TANECO, Ammonium-2, and Kazanorgsintez,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He also supported the company’s decision about the beginning of multilateral cooperation with Innopolis University.

Takashi Nishijima highly appreciated the level of organization of the forum in Kazan and thanked regional leadership for continuous support of projects in the republic.

The agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications and OOO “Yokogawa Electric CIS” was signed at the end of the meeting.
