President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov: We are interested in everything being done in Volgograd oblast

Today subjects of the federation should have contacts on regional level in economic, social, educational and cultural sectors. This has been announced by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at the meeting with delegation of Volgograd oblast headed by the governor Anatoly Brovko.

The meeting was held in residence of RT President - Kazan Kremlin.

We remind that delegation of Volgograd oblast consisted of 19 members headed by the governor Anatoly Brovko arrived in Kazan with two-day working visit. Guests have already seen a number of sport objects, visited Universiade village and IT-park.

The meeting was dedicated to possible areas for cooperation between Tatarstan and Volgograd oblast.

By words of Rustam Minnikhanov, two regions have contacts by some projects. Enterprises of Volgograd oblast are participating in realization of a large-scale project JSC “TANECO”.

RT President briefly characterized the state of republican economy. Rustam Minnikhanov considers that mutually beneficial cooperation may be realized in the sphere of energy resource saving, deliveries of products produced in Tatarstan to Volgograd oblast and military-patriotic education of the youth.

Rustam Minnikhanov estimated serious attitude of Volgograd delegation towards preparation for this visit. Among members of the delegation were officials of educational, scientific, sport, youth policy, agro-industrial complex and foodstuff, health care and social development, industry and trade sectors.

The governor of Volgograd oblast Anatoly Brovko in his turn thanked Tatarstan President for hospitality and informative program prepared for delegation.

Anatoly Brovko told about realization of reformation of housing - communal complex, measures taken in agricultural sector for avoiding situation with destruction of harvest in connection with draught and other projects implemented in Volgograd oblast.
