Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan to be supplied with necessary amount of vegetables

On September 9, during his working trip to Vysokogorsky region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with heads of villages and enterprises.
Reporting on the prospects for cabbage and potato crop, Head of the region Rustam Kalimullin said that the average yield made 200 centners per hectare that is lower than in the previous year.
Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov noted that Vysokogorsky region has shown growth in crop farming in the last few years and reminded about support programmes for rural areas, such as co-funding for purchasing new equipment.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
