Vladimir Chagin hands over a grand prize of the 2016 Silk Way Rally - White Tiger Cup to Rustam Minnikhanov

On September 15, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Head of the KAMAZ-master team Vladimir Chagin.

During the meeting, Chagin told Rustam Minnikhanov about results of the 2016 Silk Way Rally, which ran through the capital of Tatarstan along the bank of the Kazanka river.

According to him, all the organizational issues were carried out at the highest level in the republic.

Chagin also informed Tatarstan President on the preparation of Tatarstan racing team for the upcoming "Dakar-2017", which will start at the beginning of January next year in South America.

Summing up, Chagin handed over a commemorative cup "White Tiger", which was awarded to the winners of the 2016 Silk Way Rally, to Rustam Minnikhanov.

Capital overhaul of 839 multi-apartment houses completed in Tatarstan with 40 houses still being under repairs

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
