Tatarstan Prime Minister lays foundation stone of Children's Activity Centre in Kukmor

On September 15, during his working visit to Kukmor municipal region Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in a solemn ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the Children's Activity Center in Kukmor township.

Khalikov pointed out that Kukmor region shows positive results every year. “In every branch work is underway at full speed. You are ranked fifth in the republic and first among rural regions in education. This is a high level. You can be proud of your achievements in agriculture. I hope that you will use a new facility for many years to reveal children's talents,” Khalikov continued.

Sergei Dimitriev said that today Kukmor region takes part in all regional programmes. Thus, four schools have been improved, new cultural centers have been opened, roads and sidewalks have been built this year. A lot of work is carried out in rural areas as well.

Then a ceremony of laying the first foundation stone of a new social facility was held. According to the general contractor, construction works are planned to be completed within a year.

Head of the region Sergey Dmitriev, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the republic Larisa Sulima, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities of the republic Ilshat Gimaev accompanied Ildar Khalikov.
