On September 16, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Board Chairman of Promsvyazbank Dmitry Ananiev signed a cooperation agreement between Tatarstan and Promsvyazbank.
Before the signing ceremony, they had discussed issues related to further mutually beneficial cooperation.
Later on the same day, Ananiev answered questions from journalists. According to him, the agreement signed today is another milestone of Promsvyazbank presence in the region.
"This will be an additional impetus to develop specialized areas that we see in the expansion and support of export-import trends in your region. This is a framework agreement. It does not include preferences, but declares and affirms intentions and interest of the bank and the regional leadership to cooperate," he told reporters.
Ananiev continued that there are five bank branches in Tatarstan, four in Kazan and one in Naberezhnye Chelny.
Dmitry Ananiev also noted that the bank's management will make every effort to occupy a rightful place among the banks located in the region. "We will be in the top five. Small and medium businesses, export-import operations and retail are the main areas of the activity," he said.
