President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in session of Media club

The first meeting of Media club has been held in Authorized representative office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Russian Federation. About 60 journalists, who are Tatarstaners by origin and cooperate with republic because of their activity, attended the event.
The reason of creating such public organization was support of public initiatives connected with intention to make overall contribution to development of economy and investments, national culture and language. The club unites more than 100 representatives of mass media – editors, journalists and television anchormen.
Heads of Republican agency for press and mass communications, representatives of federal and Moscow mass media, TV and radio broadcasting company “Novy Vek” took part in the first meeting. The space bridge with Tatarstan journalists was organized in the studio of IA “Tatar-inform”.
Ambassador plenipotentiary of RT in RF Ravil Akhmetshin welcomed participants of the session. Then First deputy head of Republican agency for press and mass communications Farid Shagiakhmetov told about activity of JSC “Tatmedia” and media environment of the Republic of Tatarstan. In particular, he noted that interaction with federal mass media had been established in republic.
Heads of leading republican mass media - TV and radio broadcasting company “TNV”, IA “Tatar-inform” and magazine “Tatarstan” presented their companies. Head of RT President Press service Andrey Kuzmin told about facilities of Governmental portal.
Director General of Information agency “Tatar-inform” Leonid Tolchinsky presented the agency. He informed that IA “Tatar-inform” is the only national agency which gives its own original information in national language, maintains the Latin version of news for Tatars living abroad and collects information from large Tatar Diasporas. Totally, the audience of “Tatar-inform” exceeds 40 000 users per 24 hours (taking into account all services), 70 % of them live outside republic. IA “Tatar-inform” has 26 staff reporters on Russia and the abroad and 8 staff reporters in regions densely-populated with the Tatars.
RT President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed will to take part in the session of Media club and joined the conversation of journalists, who, in their turn, could ask formal and personal questions.
At the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov handed state awards to outstanding journalists celebrating jubilees.
Head of republic noted that he intensively uses new information technologies that help him and his team in work. In connection with this, he mentioned the projects “Electronic Tatarstan” and “Electronic documents circulation” that are being successfully implemented in republic.
In conclusion of the meeting Head of Republican agency for press and mass communications Marat Muratov stressed that journalists, who are Tatarstaners by origin had always been and would be valuable for republic. He promised to support their undertakings and hoped that further cooperation among journalists – members of Media club would be fruitful and constructive.
President of Tatarstan called journalists for intensive cooperation and expressed hope that Media club would become efficient site for activity of journalists and media coverage of republican life on federal level.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
