On September 20, at the square near the Kazan City Hall, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in a solemn ceremony of handing over keys from 32 new cars to agencies of the Minister of Forestry of the republic.
“This ceremony is part of a large-scale programme to support regional foresters,” Khalikov said in his welcoming speech.
Noting that on September 18 foresters marked their professional holiday he also congratulated forest workers on this event.
“Over the last years you have done a lot of work to preserve forest and develop forestry. In particular, there were no large fires,” Khalikov stressed.
He added that a number of large-scale investment projects have been implemented in the regional forest industry, including the opening of the plant breeding and seed centre in Saby region.
“Foreign investors have come to the republic, because they are confidant in you. This allow us to say that our forest industry is full-fledged,” Khalikov noted.
Tatarstan Prime Minister reminded that today 32 agencies of Minister of Forestry of the republic will be handed over keys from new cars. It is planned to buy another 28 vehicles by the end of the year.
Then, a ceremony of handing over key from new service cars was held.
