Rustam Minnikhanov visits the IAA Commercial Vehicles International Trade Fair in Hannover

On September 22, during his working visit to Hannover (Federative Republic of Germany), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended an international exhibition IAA Commercial Vehicles 2016.

This fair of trucks and buses is considered to be one of the largest trade shows in Europe. The fair organizer is Verband der Automobilindustrie e.V. (VDA).

Being held every other year, the IAA Commercial Vehicles takes place in the even years in Hannover, while the IAA Cars takes place in odd years in Frankfurt.

In 2016 the IAA Commercial Vehicles shows trucks and truck tractor, light commercial vehicles, buses, special motor vehicles, transport logistics, etc.

A large number of innovations in the automobile industry are traditionally presented in Hannover. Specialized themed seminars, conferences and round tables on the most topical issues will be held during the fair. Besides, this year vintage trucks and technical maintenance of vehicles will be presented at the fair.

First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Ruslan Kabirov, a representative of Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade in Germany Takhir Gataullin, Director General of KAMAZ Automaker Sergey Kogogin and other officials are accompanying Rustam Minnikhanov.

Capital overhaul of 839 multi-apartment houses completed in Tatarstan with 40 houses still being under repairs

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “ Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize award ceremony

On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
