Tatarstan President meets with Consul General of Turkey in Kazan Ahmet Tuta

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan Ahmet Tuta on Thursday, December 23.
Ahmet Tuta is finishing his work in the Republic of Tatarstan due to transfer to a new diplomatic post.
Many events which were significant both for Tatarstan economy and the Turkish economy happened while Ahmet Tuta was in office, Rustam Minnikhanov noted.
“What concerns Tatarstan, we always supported contacts with the Turkish Republic in economy, culture, education, healthcare and other fields,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
He reminded that the Turkish prime minister’s visit to Tatarstan is expected.
Consul General of the Turkish Republic in Kazan Ahmet Tuta stated that the year of 2010 had been full of important events in Tatarstan-Turkey relations, mainly thanks to sincere support and attention from the Tatarstan authorities. He expressed confidence that the cooperation will develop successfully in the future.
Ahmet Tuta said he would hand over the invitation letter from Rustam Minnikhanov to the Turkish prime minister.
Ahmet Tuta thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the assistance rendered to him during his term as the consul general of the Turkish Republic in Kazan.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
