Rustam Minnikhanov: «Marat Akhmetov will continue to work as the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan»

On September 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov commented on the decision regarding withdrawal of the mandate of Marat Akhmetov, who was elected to the State Duma in a federal list of candidates nominated by the political party “United Russia”.

"Marat Akhmetov is one of the most experienced and respected members of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. Largely due to his fruitful work in a position of the Minister of Agriculture and Food, the agricultural complex of the republic is one of the leaders in the country.

We have a lot of new and interesting projects in agriculture to ensure the steady development of agriculture, one of the most important sectors of the economy. The republic needs Marat Akhmetov's experience and knowledge. Therefore it was decided that he will continue to work as the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan," Minnikhanov said.
