Ildar Khalikov got acquainted with Universiade objects in progress

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov visited construction sites of Centre of rowing sports, Palace of water sports, football stadium for 45 000 places and objects of Kazan transport infrastructure where he got acquainted with the course of construction works during holidays.
Head of RT Ministry of construction Irek Faizullin shared impressions with journalists after visiting construction objects. In particular, the minister informed that the preliminary name of football stadium is “Rubin”. It will become the place for holding ceremonies of opening and closing World universiade-2013. Moreover, matches of world football championship 2018 will surely be held at Kazan stadium. By words of Irek Faizullin, the unique sport object is planned to be commissioned by the end of 2012.
Out of new thirty Universiade objects only 5 are to be constructed. All construction works are being implemented as scheduled.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
