Rustam Minnikhanov opens new building of plenipotentiary representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazakhstan

On October 4, during his visit to Astana, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of the new building of plenipotentiary representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazakhstan.

Opened in 1997, the plenipotentiary representation is a permanent body of the Republic of Tatarstan implementing trade-economic, scientific-technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation in Kazakhstan.

In his welcoming speech, Akim of Astana Asset Issekeshev said that Tatarstan and Kazakhstan established long-term friendly relations. We have extensive future plans and a number of interesting projects to implement, he added.

“Kazakhstan is a strategic partner of our republic in the sphere of economic, scientific-technical and innovative activity,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
