Rustam Minnikhanov meets President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis

On October 5, during his two-day working visit to Latvia, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis at the President's Palace (Riga Castle).

Then, an extended meeting with participation of Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Aide to Tatarstan Preisdent Radik Gimatdinov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Talia Minnulina and other officials took place.

Speaking at the meeting Raimonds Vējonis noted that the visit of the Tatarstan delegation is very important for further cooperation in the sphere of culture, education and other areas.

The meeting also discussed further steps to expand business contacts. Besides, Minnikhanov left  a note in the book of honorable guests. "I would like to thank the leadership of the Republic of Latvia for attention paid to Tatarstan and the warm welcome in Latvia. I hope that the current visit and the meeting will give a new impetus and contribute to strengthening cooperation between Russia and Latvia."
