President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov: One of important directions – granting citizens state services in electronic format

Each year IT –sphere in Republic of Tatarstan undergoes big changes granting more and more possibilities for sectors of the economy, citizens and authority bodies. This was stated by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at year’s results board session in RT Ministry of informatization and communication.
The borad session took place in the IT – park building (Kazan), in video conference format with switching all municipal regions of Tatarstan. Deputy RT Premier –Minister of informatization and communication Nikolai Nikiforov came out with a report on 2010 year’s results.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minniklhanov speaking about IT brancg development marked that one of the important directions today is granting state services in electronic format. By his words, this direction opens immense possibilities for adjusting communications between official authorities and citizens. «Citizens often express dissatisfaction over the works of bureaucrats, - Rustam Minikhanov said. – In number of cases the point is not whether a problem of citizen is solved or not but that he cannot obtain necessary for him information».
Granting of state services in electronic format enables access to information.
Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned also that today Federal government is interested in further progressing IT – sector. He reminded that IT- park building had been constructed for federal and republican funds. It is supposed that in year 2011 construction of IT-park in the second major city of Tatarstan Naberezhny Chelny is envisaged.
In opinion of Rustam Minnikhanov it is important to create conditions for the work of specialists in IT sphere, provide the ground for activity where they could create new products, exchange ideas. To meet this end IT-village and further progress of IT –park is to be realized.
President of Tatarstan during the session stated likewise that today it is necessary to take a decision at federal level to introduce single standards in IT sphere. The country is immense and very different by level of infrastructure development, introduction of info technologies. . «It is important that all regions operated on a single platform, in one system», - Rustam Minnikhanov stated.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “
Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
