Rustam Minnikhanov «Year of Teacher should turn into to Century of teacher»

Year of teacher should turn into Century of teacher. This was stated by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at closing ceremony held at Kazan Pyramid.

«Year of teacher is over and today we sum up its results. Look, how much can be done for a year! – Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned. – Today one cannot help but agree that Year of teacher should turn into Century of teacher. We have adopted 5-year strategy of education development «Kilyechek». I think that in such format we must work further and sum up annually the results».

By words of Rustam Minnikhanov introduction of new payment system for teachers, realization of projects within «Electronic school» (provision of schools with computers and teachers with note-books) – is only the beginning of a dig work which should be implemented in Tatarstan.

«But in any case, teacher always remains, - head of Tatarstan emphasized. –We cannot fulfill all. If last year we started active realization of the program «Electronic education», passed to new payment system, this year we make a serious accent on preschool institutions» .

«These days we take up a decision: children who already turned 3 years and who stood in line to kinder gardens at year’s beginning should during the year to receive pass to preschool institution. Certainly, it is a serious task asking considerable investments. But I am sure we manage it», - Rustam Minnikhanov promised.


«We will further support our teacher, raise his social status, realize, educational programs of retraining and other our projects. All this will serve for our teacher», - president of Tatarstan assured and theankes teachers for their hard work.
