Unified safety standards of sport buildings to be worked out in Tatarstan

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is sure in necessity of elaborating unified safety standards for sport buildings, especially taking into account tragic events in “Domodedovo”.
Today at the meeting of republican Head and grant holders of RT special state scholarship in Kazan Kremlin graduate student of Kazan state architectural university Roman Shapilov told about his Candidate's dissertation dedicated to development of measures package on ensuring safety at sport objects.
Roman said that tragic events happed in “Domodedovo” made him speak to the President. “I’d like to suggest creation of special commission in Tatarstan commissioned to implement interaction of various structures – Ministry of the interiors, Federal security service, Ministry of emergency situations and other institutions with leadership of sport objects. We don’t have any security standards in terms of sport objects”,- he said.
“I completely agree with you, Roman, the issue of security is number one. We will work out your proposal. As far as we will host many large international competitions such as Universiade-2013, World football championship 2018, we are to develop unified safety standards. All objects should meet security requirements”, - RT President addressed the speaker.
Celebration of Student’s day in Kazan was cancelled because of terrorist attack in “Domodedovo”.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
