On October 20, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Chairman of State Council Yury Kamaltynov and other officials took part in parliament hearings on the bill “About budget of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2017 and planned period of 2018 and 2019”.
Before the hearings the budget estimate for 2017 was considered at sessions of all parliamentary committees, and will be discussed by municipalities at the meetings that will start from October 22.
Tatarstan has started a three-year planning of costs and revenues again this year.
The Minister of economy of the republic Artem Zdunov told that the forecast and social and economic development was based on cautious macroeconomic forecast. He noted that some industrial enterprises will start working at planned capacity next year, which will determine the growth of Industrial Production Index. Oil, gas and engineering sectors will be prioritized.
According to Khalikov, implementation of all 30 regional programmes will be continued in 2017.
