As of today, 26 accidents occurred in the construction industry of the republic, which is 30 per cent less than in 2015

On October 21, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at the Government House of the republic, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that since the beginning of the year 26 accidents have occurred in the construction industry of the republic, which is 30 per cent less as compared to the same period last year. The number of fatal cases has decreased by 5, while accidents with severe injuries – by 7 cases.

The Minister reported that the Inspectorate of State Construction Supervision of the republic has conducted 1,238 inspections since the beginning of the year. As a result, 422 resolutions for a total amount of 16 mln 70 thousand roubles of fines have been issued.

He also reported that 734 houses have been repaired under the programme of capital repair of multi-apartment houses.

Faizullin noted it is planned to repair 95 schools, including 15 special schools and 53 pre-school organizations for the sum of 1.9 bln roubles in 2016. As of today, almost all facilities have been commissioned.
