Tatarstan customs summarize results of activity in 2010

2010 was rather difficult year for customs officers in Tatarstan. It is connected with beginning of work of Customs union that includes three states: Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Head of customs office Albert Mavlikov told about activity of Tatarstan customs at briefing in House of RT government. He reminded that a common customs code started functioning on July,1 2010. For the purpose of explaining main clauses of Customs Code a consulting centre was organized in republic. Participants of foreign economic activity intensively addressed for consultations.
Regular meetings, workshops and consulting sessions with participation of business society allowed avoiding any mismatches during first days of working under conditions of Customs union.
A priority area of work of Tatarstan customs is making favorable conditions for work of honest participants of foreign economic activity. To realize it, customs office adopts information technologies, including the procedure of goods declaring in electronic format.
In 2010 70 % of total numbers of declarations were submitted in electronic format. It is one of the highest rate in Volga Federal District and in Russia where average value is about 40 %.
For information: Last year foreign economic activity in area of work of Tatarstan customs was implemented by 1093 participants of foreign economic activity, foreign trade relations were maintained with 124 countries.
Foreign trade turnover in 2010 made 5 bln. US dollars. Export is mainly presented by production of chemical, machine building industries, fuel and energy complex.
Main transmitters of goods are JSC ‘Nizhnekamskneftehim”, JSC “Kazan helicopters plant”, JSC “Kazanorgsintez”, JSC “TAIF-NK”, OOO “Trade house “KAZMA”, ZAO “Foreign trade company “KAMAZ”. The import structure is mainly defined by needs of budget-saving republican enterprises and is presented by machine building and chemical production. Main recipients are OOO “Sollers-Elabuga”, ZAO “Foreign trade company “KAMAZ”, JSC “Kazan helicopters plant”, JSC ‘Ak Bars Aero”, JSC “Sollers-Naberezhnye Chelny”, JSC ‘Air company Tatarstan”, JSC “Tatneft named after V.D.Shashin, OOO “Neftegasengineering”, OOO “P-D Tatneft Alabuga Steklovolokno”.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
