Rustam Minnikhanov meets management of Liaoning Wang Yu He Company in Shanghai

On November 1, during his working trip to Shanghai, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met management of Liaoning Wang Yu He Company during the 18h China international furniture fair СIIF-2016.

Rustam Minnikhanov told that Tatarstan actively cooperates with Chinese businessmen and some projects are being successfully implemented at Alabuga Special Economic Zone with the participation of Chinese partners. Moreover, the Ammoni fertilizer complex was launched in Mendeleevsk.

Representatives of Liaoning Wang Yu He expressed their interest in Ansat helicopters that are produced in Tatarstan, and said they are ready to cooperate in different spheres, from petrochemistry to humanitarian projects.

Rustam Minnikhanov invited leadership of the company to Tatarstan, and gave a task to organize the visit of the Tatarstan delegation to China to determine plans on further cooperation.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.

On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
