Ildar Khalikov: Tatarstan statistics service worked out new technologies of information collection

Specialists of statistics bodies carry out work which credibility, quality and timeliness influence the quality of accepted governmental decisions and, afterwards, quality of life. Specialists of Tatarstan statistics successfully cope with set tasks. This has been announced today by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at joint session of Tatarstan statistics service and RT Committee on social and economic monitoring. Participants of the event summarized results of activity in 2010 and set tasks for 2011.
The event was held in Kazan with participation of Chairman of RT State Council Committee for economy, investments and entrepreneurship Marat Galeev.
By words of Head of Tatarstan statistics service Valery Kandilov, worsening of situation in agro-industrial complex in connection with rise in prices was marked last year. However, due to measures on freeze of prices for socially significant products and organization of seasonal fairs, it was possible to keep inflation on the level of 8,2 % while throughout Russia the rate is 8,8 %.
“We monthly inform leadership of republic about employment level and social portrait of the unemployed. As a result of joint work carried by ministries and departments the number of unemployed people reduced two times”, - Valery Kandilov said. In 2010 level of unemployment made 6,3 % (in Russia – 7,5 %) against 8,5 % in 2009. Joint efforts led to considerable decrease of overdue arrears of wages. Volume of arrears per year reduced to 45-50 mln. roubles.
By results of year major enterprises of real sector exceeded pre-crisis volumes of industrial production and stepped forward the path of stable growth.
All-Russia population census has become an important event as well in 2010. State statistics bodies were responsible for preparation and holding of this event, methodological maintenance and data processing. In 2011 statistics bodies started economic census of small and medium entrepreneurship.
RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov summed up results of the session. He put much emphasis on transfer to electronic documents circulation and use of resources of electronic record books.
On finishing the session distinguished specialists of Tatarstan statistics service received governmental and departmental awards.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “
Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
