Ildar Khalikov: Opening «Ernst&Young» office in Kazan means attraction of Tatartsan for international business

Opening «Ernst&Young» office in Kazan signifies interest and confidence of international business in Republic Tatarstan. This was stated by RT Premier Ildar Khalikov upon end of a meeting with «Ernst&Young» company delegation. The meeting took place in Kazan city hall.
«For Tatarstan opening of «Ernst&Young» office means interest and confidence of international business in republic», -RT PM underlined in an interview to journalists.
Head of RT Government mentioned «Ernst&Young» company is a world leader in audit and Tatarstan is interested in developing investment legislation. By words of I. Khalikov, jointly with Ernst&Young» the analysis of investment appeal has been held and a range of recommendations on its raising prepared.
«Business evaluates Tatartsan as quite an attractive region but nevertheless with some weak elements and RT Government will undertake all measures», - RT PM told the journalists.
In his turn managing partner of «Ernst&Young» on Russia Alexandr Ivlev informed that the company had come to Russia in 1989 and since then is actively working in providing audit and consult services, tax payment and training.
He reminded that «Ernst&Young» has been working in the republic for many years. «but critical mass of business portfolio is enough to open office appeared two years back», - A. Ivlev singled out. By his words the company is operating with such mahor companies like JSC Tatneft , JSC Kamaz».
Alexandr Ivlev informed that «Ernst&Young» plans to increase business volume in Tatartsan 2,5-3 fold during close 2-3 years. Besides «Ernst&Young», by his words is ready to carry out social projects. The company, presently, holds negotiations with Kazan conservatory on partners relations and rendering assistance.
«Ernst&Young» is interested in training specialists on the basis of leading universities of Tatarstan. By words of A. Ivlev this is a habitualpractice for the company opening its offices in the regions.
On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation.
The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.
On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
