Rustam Minnikhanov visits Boeing plants in the USA

On November 10, during his working trip to the USA, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Boeing plants in Renton and Everett (Washington).

At Boeing headquarters in Renton, Boeing President in Russia and CIS Sergey Kravchenko told about the company’s successful work due to the lean production system. The system implementation started in the USA in 90s and in 2000 in Russia. The company now produces 42 Boeing 737 aircrafts per month.

At Boeing plant in Everett the guests got familiar with the production of wide-body aircrafts Boeing 777 and Dreamliner.

The president also met Russian engineers, who were doing the internship at the plant.

During his conversation with Sergey Kravchenko, Minnikhanov told that aircraft manufacturing cluster is well developed in Tatarstan, and that the republic is interested in cooperation with Boeing in the sphere of specialist training programmes.
