Rustam Minnikhanov gets familiar with work of business incubator 500 Startups

On November 11, during his working visit to the USA (November 9-11), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met management of business incubator 500 Startups.
Founded by a businessman Dave McClure 500 Startups is one of the most famous international venture funds.
The company co-founder Christina Tsai told about the history of 500 Startups, principles of project selection, and seed investments.
The fund’s portfolio makes $200 mln. Mentors of the accelerator 500 Startups used to be top managers of PayPal, Google, Facebook, YouTube, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Twitter, Apple and other companies.

On 31 January RF Presidential Commissioner for the Rights of Children Maria Lvova- Belova, who came on a working trip to Kazan, took part in an inter-departmental meeting on protection of rights and legal interests of children held in the Tatarstan Government house with participation of the regional Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Elmira Zaripova, children’s rights Ombudsman of the republic Irina Volynets and the member of the Russian State Duma Tatyana Larionova.
On 31 January, speaking at a regular meeting of the Tatneftekhiminvest Holding Board held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Director General of the holding Rafinat Yarullin reported about results of work of oil, gas and chemical enterprises of the republic in 2022.

On January 26, the State Council of Tatarstan supported the appeal of the Government of the republic on the establishment of a pilot legal regime in the sphere of digital innovations for the operation of unmanned aerial systems in Innopolis.
