Five criminal cases opened upon facts of roof fall in Tatarstan

Five criminal cases were opened upon facts of negligent attitude of Managing companies and Homeowners Associations towards cleaning roofs from snow that resulted in collapse of roofs. Such information has been given by RT Prosecutor Kafil Amirov at session of Commission for prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and fire safety in RT.
The event was held in Kazan under chairmanship of First Vice-premier Ravil Muratov.
Kafil Amirov criticized the attitude of managing companies towards major repairs of houses and cleaning roofs from snow.
“We observe a terrible situation in the city. 13 collapses of roofs have been registered in Kazan. Still no one of executive personnel suffered punishment”, - RT Prosecutor stressed.
Kafil Amirov emphasized the urgency of monitoring legal expenditure of funds allocated for cleaning territories.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
