Ildar Khalikov: Defender of the Fatherland Day is becoming more important

RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in solemn event dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day. Head of Tatarstan Government congratulated veterans and military men on this holiday and handed a number of awards.
The solemn ceremony was held in concert hall of cultural entertainment complex “Piramida”. Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov congratulated veterans and military men from the stage. Special words of gratitude were addressed to veterans of Great Patriotic War.
Head of Republic noted that for many years defence industry of Tatarstan had been well-known at all fronts. “In recent years our defence industry has been reviving bringing new decisions, high-tech and innovative kinds of armament”, - Prime Minister said.
Ildar Khalikov stressed that due to decisions made by RF Government, the power of Russian army is rising. Officers are provided with housing, financial well-being is expanding, new modern kinds of armament are being purchased.
RT Prime Minister reminded that Tatarstan Republic had been acknowledged the best in Russia by quality of draft work.
On behalf of RT President, State Council, Tatarstan Government Ildar Khalikov congratulated veterans and military men on Defender of the Fatherland Day, wished them and their families strong health, good luck and all the best. Prime Minister handed state awards and letters of gratitude to military men and staffs of enterprises which contributed into celebration of 65-anniversary of the Victory.

Leyla Fazleeva holds a meeting of the commission under the Rais of Tatarstan on the Russian language
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.

On 27 March, speaking at a ceremonial event dedicated to celebrations of the Day of Russian National Guard held at the Kazan City Hall with participation of the Chief of the Office of the Staff of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov, heads of law-enforcement bodies of the republic and veterans and employees of the territorial Directorate of the National Guard, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian National Guard Directorate for the republic Republic of Tatarstan is traditionally acknowledged as one of the best in the country.
